Having left behind the physical troubles that had slowed her down in Lake Placid, the Frenchwoman put forth an excellent performance, adding to those already offered this season in the Cup. After finishing sixth and fifth in the first two rounds in Brazil, in the following stages the 20-year-old racked up an impressive string of results: third in Nove Mesto, second in Val di Sole, first in Crans Montana, second in Savoy, to which must be added the placings in short track, a specialty that testified to the transalpine biker's growth in condition and awareness. Olivia Onesti's placing is the icing on the cake of a memorable season for the boys of Luca Bramati: in addition to the podiums in the World Cup, on the showcase shine the silver medal at the World Cup by Onesti herself, the national titles won by Onesti and Slovenia's Vita Movrin, the silver medal of Nicole Pesse at the Italians and the team in the Team Relay, the conquest of the Internazionali d'Italia Series circuit with Lucia Bramati and the Italia Bike Cup with Nicole Pesse, not forgetting the return to the race fields of Cristian Bernardi and the experiences gained by the youngsters Marco Bramati, Alice Pascucci and Alan Zanolini.

His last World Cup appearance was dated September 23 2023, in the French stage in Les Portes du Soleil. Then Cristian Bernardi was forced to take a break to win a personal battle with illness. Cristian participated in the Elite competition, crossing the finish line in 79th position; a great satisfaction for the athlete and for the entire Trinx Factory Team entourage, which has always accompanied him even when his return to racing seemed far away. The first of the two overseas stages of the Cup saw Olivia Onesti finish 15th in Friday's short track and 12th in the Olympic Cross Country event: with these placings, the French U23 champion, penalized by a flu syndrome in the days leading up to the race, defended her second position in the World Cup standings, a prestigious placement that the transalpine will try to defend in a week's time in Mont Sainte Anne. Lucia Bramati will also be in Canada, hunting for the best shape ahead of the cyclocross season, a specialty in which the 21-year-old has always performed well. In the United States, she placed 28th in the short track and 40th in the cross country event.

Three weeks after the World Championships in Andorra, Olivia Onesti and Vita Movrin were back on their Trinx bikes to take part in two international races in France and Austria. The Under-23 vice-world champion Olivia Onesti took part in the fifth and final stage of the Mtb French Cup in Adge: for her fourth place overall in the women's race and first place among the girls in her category. A resultthat allowed her not only to win the French challange among U23 athletes, but also to finish third in the Open classification including Elite Women. A good viaticum for the last two World Cup stages, scheduled in the United States and Canada, in which the athlete directed by Luca Bramati will chase the first place currently occupied by Germany's Kira Bohm. Not bad either was the comeback of Slovenian champion Vita Movrin, who on Saturday in Koppl, Austria, finished third in the Nockstein Trophy, a C2 class event won by Austrian Tamara Wiedmann ahead of German Leonie Daubermann (in the archive photo by Maxime Schmid, the athlete in action in Brazil). In Italy, Lucia Bramati and Cristian Bernardi took part in the Colceresia Bike in order to prepare themselves for the last two World Cup rounds.
